Sunday, April 19, 2026, 3:00pm at St. James Hall, 296 Titicus Road.  Author talk by Keith Marshall Jones III: The Battle of Ridgefield – Benedict Arnold, the Patriot Militia and the surprising 1777 Battle that Galvanized Revolutionary ConnecticutFought in our backyard,  it was also where many Upper Salem soldiers fought, where at least one died and where Thaddeus Crane was badly wounded.

Monday, May 25, 2026, 10:00am, Memorial Day Parade.  Everyone marching gathers at the bottom of Oak Ridge Road and the procession heads west to the memorial in front of the old Purdy's High School, now the Westchester School for Special Children.

Saturday, June 20, 2026:  North Salem Celebrates 1776 with history, family fun, horses, militia, games, live music, food trucks and fireworks! North Salem Middle/High School, 5:00pm start – fireworks after sundown.  For North Salem and school district residents only and  please no dogs, except service animals.

POSTPONED Robert Treadway on The Men who Caught Andre.  Meet the militia men on leave in Upper Salem who set out to catch British cowboys and got Andre instead and saved West Point!  We will post new date once it is decided.
